Flail mowers are the perfect tool for clearing a wide variety of vegetation such as grass, bracken, brambles, nettles and much more. The Pro Ranch Flail 1200 is at home whether it is mowing a paddock or clearing overgrown areas of the farm. All Pro Ranch implements come with 12 months warranty, and are UKCA certified meaning they meet all of the latest safety and emissions regulations (do not buy a mower that has not got a valid CE or UKCA certificate!). Ideal for local councils, farms, shoots, golf courses, horse paddocks and more!
 
As standard, the Flail 1200 boasts an ultra smooth, powerful and efficient, 420cc, electric start Briggs & Stratton petrol engine with enough power for even the toughest mowing tasks. The Pro Ranch Flail 1200 also comes as standard with an offsetting drawbar as well as the option to change between side fitting rear wheels for a lighter drawbar weight or trailing rear wheels making it much easier to get tight to hedgerows, grass verges and banks.
 
The cut height can be adjusted from 20mm to 300mm making the Flail 1200 suitable for just about any mowing task. We recommend starting with a higher setting to avoid unnecessary wear on the drive system. The cutter deck height can easily be adjusted depending on how long or short you want the finish to be, simply turn the height adjustment jack handle at the rear of the mower clockwise or anticlockwise depending on whether you want to raise or lower the cutting bed. The height of the skids below the mower can also be adjusted.
 
For extra stability, a 360 degree tow hitch also comes as standard. This helps the mower articulate smoothly across uneven terrain helping maintain a smooth and even finish. The rear roller helps reduce the risk of bottoming out on large lumps in the terrain as well as leaving a professional 'stripe' finish on smoother grassed surfaces.
